 Ben is retired but old habits die hard...
This is the very first "BEN" comic strip that was published in newspapers in 1996. The story of Ben and Olivia Hatley began with Ben's retirement from his desk job of over thirty years. When Daniel conceived of the comic strip, he was thinking about his own parents who at the time were not far from that change in their lives.
